FOCUS ON ISRAEL DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
The following Foundational Truths explain our theology and are a statement of faith. We believe that they are scripturally based, non-negotiable and a continual guide for how we live, what we say and do.
The Bible
We believe the Bible, in its original form, to be without error, the fully inspired and infallible Word of God and that the sixty-six books of the Bible are the sole and final authority in all matters of faith, practice and conduct.
The Godhead
We believe there is one infinite and perfect God, eternally existing in three distinct and equal persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption.
Yeshua
We believe that God the Son pre-existed as the eternal Word, he became man and was known as Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, the Son of David.
We believe in his true and proper deity, his virgin conception, his real and complete humanity, and his sinless life.
We believe in his authoritative teaching, in his substitutionary and atoning sacrifice through his shed blood, that he was physically raised from the dead, that he ascended to the right hand of the Father, and now intercedes for his people.
We believe that he will return to receive his Church and reign as king over Israel and the nations.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the complete deity and personality of the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
We believe in his work in conviction of sin, repentance, regeneration and sanctification, that he baptises every true believer into the body of Messiah and equips them with the promised enduement of power as the gift of Christ through the secondary baptism in the Holy Spirit with signs following. He indwells every believer, sanctifying, guiding, and empowering them for full participation in the life and ministry of the Church for the common good, through worship, prayer, outreach, servanthood and daily service.
Mankind
We believe in the universal sinfulness of all people following the Fall as described in the book of Genesis, rendering all people subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is available to all people only through faith in the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) and belief in His finished work on the cross. All people must recognise that they are sinners, repent to God and believe that Yeshua is the promised Messiah to obtain salvation, which is a gift from God by His loving kindness, and is received through justification by faith alone, and is evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit and a holy life.
The Church
We believe that the Church is comprised of those who believe in Yeshua the Messiah, follow his teachings and live as his disciples. We believe in the spiritual unity and the priesthood of all those believers and that these comprise the universal Church, the Body of Messiah.

Israel
We believe that God made an everlasting and enduring covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through which he would create a nation of people to become his conduit through which Messiah would bring His redemption to all people. It incorporates the continuation of Israel as God’s chosen people, the promise of the land of Israel, and a kingdom of priests, who are a light to the nations and a witness to God’s ongoing faithfulness.
We believe that the nation of Israel is a continued part of God’s prophetic and end time purposes and has not been replaced by the Church.
We believe that the faithful remnant are those who accept Yeshua as Messiah.
The Ministry
We believe in the fivefold ministry that Yeshua has set in His Church, namely, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers and in the present operation of the manifold Gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the New Covenant.
The Mission
We believe God has commissioned his disciples to preach the gospel to the Jew first and to the nations, and to fulfil a ministry of healing and deliverance to the spiritual and physical needs of mankind.
The Ordinances
We believe in the baptism of all believers through full immersion in water as commanded by Yeshua and the remembrance of Yeshua’s death by observing Messiah’s communion until His return.
The Coming King
We believe in the personal, physical and visible return of the Yeshua the Messiah to reign in power and glory.
The Future State
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and in the final judgement of all people, the eternal conscious bliss of the righteous and the eternal conscious punishment of the wicked.
